Are you a Drupal web developer that's been around the block? We could use your help!
This position will be responsible for planning, building and maintaining Drupal CMS-driven websites. You'll work closely with the web team, designers, account/project managers and other staff members to help deliver awesome online experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Help guide us through projects from planning to completion, ensuring the quality, efficiency and reliability of finished Drupal websites
- Create custom themes and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig to achieve desired designs and user experiences
- Implement responsive design techniques to ensure compatibility with various devices and screen sizes
- Optimize website performance and scalability through efficient code, caching strategies, and server configuration
- Maintain websites via routine Drupal updates and upgrades to contributed modules
- Upgrade/migrate websites from older versions of Drupal (9+) to newer versions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and documentation efforts, providing technical insights and recommendation
- Stay updated on the latest web trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply to our processes
- Attend internal and external meetings to facilitate projects
- Mentor and support junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment
Requirements
Development
- Experience building websites on the Drupal CMS platform with custom themes
- Rock-solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive layouts
- Experience with GIT, Composer, and the Drush command line interface for Drupal
- Experience with Drupal 10 migration projects and familiarity with migration tools and technique
- Familiarity with the Pantheon hosting platform & Terminus interface, or ability to familiarize
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and techniques for creating accessible websites
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Communication
- Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative and energetic team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to receive feedback productively and make multiple changes upon request.
- Comfortable talking to clients and our team members
Project Management
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks independently.
- Fine attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate end-results.

Education & Experience
We are looking for someone who's been there and done that, with 6+ years experience as a Drupal web developer in a professional environment. Our ideal candidate is senior-level, but up and coming mid-level folks will also be considered. A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but if you're a self-taught go-getter who really knows your stuff, let's talk.
Online portfolio or samples of previous website work is essential. We'd love to see what you've built.
