In a time of declining support for DEI initiatives, TRIAD Communications, an Ohio-based marketing and design firm, is supporting eight regional nonprofits, including Summit County’s Black Chamber of Commerce, the Gay Community Endowment Fund, and Ohio’s Council on American-Islamic Relations, with $57,000 worth of pro-bono services.
Each year, the TRIAD team selects several nonprofits to receive pro-bono design, web development and marketing services through its Design4Good partnership program.
“Pro-bono work from the Design4Good program allows nonprofits to have greater impacts on the community,” said TRIAD President Rick Krochka. “Assisting organizations with their marketing needs eases the lift of organization staff and alleviates budgets, permitting more good to be done in pursuit of their missions.”
Additional 2025 recipients include Fairlawn-West United Church of Christ, Torchbearers Akron, Child Guidance & Family Solutions, Greenleaf Family Center, and Friends of Historic Glendale Cemetery.
This year, TRIAD has selected Ohio’s Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Ohio) as its Showcase Project. This project will receive a larger share of the granted amount and will help elevate the organization's annual report – providing it with a useful marketing piece when raising funds and continuing its mission of protecting civil liberties, promoting justice, and empowering American Muslims.
Other projects will include updated websites for Child Guidance & Family Solutions and Greenleaf Family Center and branding support for Summit County’s Black Chamber of Commerce and Fairlawn-West United Church of Christ, among others. The breadth of services TRIAD provides allows for a variety and often holistic approach to marketing for nonprofits.
Over the past 31 years, the Design4Good program has granted over $850,000, helping to make positive and lasting impacts on the community. TRIAD and its team take great pride in the work they do and the good it can do in their communities. It is through their unwavering support of organizations and their missions that these great deeds are accomplished.
